(More customer reviews)We purchased one several years ago also.We have an industrial grade belt sander and a drill attachment rotary sander too.We bought this sander for finishing work.It serves the purpose we bought it for beautifully.
Pros:Light weight, small/portable, relatively inexpensive, easy to control over sanding surfaces,pads easy to replace and does great finishing work.
Cons:Does vibrate but what sander doesn't?The end results out weigh the means.
My suggestion - If you haven't ever used any type of sander and think the vibration factor to your hand is a problem, then either buy one and plug it in or do so in the store to see for yourself.
I know at the least 3 persons in my family who own one (as well other types of sanders) and love it for the "pros" I mentioned.
