(More customer reviews)I tried the Porter Cable 1/4 Sheet Pad Sander with it's dust collection system and came away very disappointed. The canister dust collection system was a joke. When I tried to connect my Craftsman Wet-Dry Vacuum hose to the exhaust it would not fit at all. I called Porter Cable and was told I could buy an adapter. When I asked what size hose the adapter would fit I was told 2.25 inches. I needed a 2" exhaust for my vacuum hose. I returned the Porter Cable sander to Amazon.com. At the Sears store I tried my vacuum hose on the DeWalt 1/4 Sheet Pad Sander and discovered that it was just like the Porter Cable, it would not match up. I tried the Sears Craftsman 1/4 Sheet Pad Sander and it accepted my hose attachment perfectly so I bought it. I tried it out on the drywall I was finishing using the Craftsman Wet-Dry Vacuum and was pleased with the way it handled the dust.
