(More customer reviews)Hi, I did not buy this sander, yet.I plan to.However, I did buy a combo package which included four tools, two battery packs and a charger.
I can't imagine that the previous commentor did any searching around about the Ryobi tools such that when he ordered he was not aware that it was a bare tool.I quickly understood that you could buy the batteries and charger, then add tools as you needed them.Hence, I chose to start with a combo package that included a reciprocating saw, circular saw, drill, light, two batteries and charger, and nylon tool carrying bag.
I had small tree limbs that I need to cut by working on an aluminum ladder.I did not want to use my power cord reciprocating saw.The battery pack rceiprocating saw worked as well as my electric model with no risk of getting electrocuted.In particular the method of changing the blade was the best I have ever seen and beats my electric model by a long shot.
I also separately ordered a stapler, thinking I could use staples and brads.I made the mistake of reading the literature wrong and ordered the stapler only.Now I am returning that unit (nothing wrong with it) and ordering the stapler/nailer because of my intended use of the tool.I need BOTH stapler and nailer functionality.
I love the Ryobi One + system.I intend to get the sander, mini vac, roto tool and maybe some others.You know, guys that regularly use tools can't have too many.
I don't build houses for a living so I don't know that that type of usage would work well with this tool system, but for regular use around the house the tools are terrific.
